I graduated from Civil Engineering department and recently finished my master's thesis at the Instıtute of Environmental Sciences. For this reason, from Math to Physics and Chemistry, I've been able to tutor in each of science related courses. My tutorials helps students grasp both theoretical aspects of scientific subjects and grasp also application of these subjects. The reason why I merge theoretical knowledge and various applications of these knowledge is to reinforce learning process of students and try to prevent forgetting and memorizing as much as possible.
Additionally, since I studied in an Italian University and lived in there for more than year, I'm pretty fluent in Italian and can teach students especially tricks of daily Italian language. My italian tutorials have so far been based on dialogues and simple conversations. So, I can assure you that you can enjoy my italian classes and at the same time can learn very core parts of everyday italian.

I'm a Civil Engineering graduate and currently an Environmental Sciences master student at Boğaziçi University/Turkey.
I've been tutoring for so long and therefore I have enough reason to believe that I'm good at teaching people on one to one courses and that I really like doing this job. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to continue to do this job because my personality traits do not allow me to do things that I'm not good at or things that I can't form an emotional bond with. For this reason, I'm trying to increase my tutoring experiences with the help of platforms like "Apprentus" because it provides me with a chance to reach out to more people, which means I can share my knowledge and experiences with more and more people.
For me, it is particularly important to help people learn in easiest ways and help them keep permanently whatever they learn during my class. To this end, I like to use different analogies, visual experiments and even jokes time to time.

I've been tutoring for long years on subjects varying from Math to Physics and to Italian and academic english. My students so far have been from various backgrounds, from people being in their 40s to elementary school kids.
As to my qualifications, I've graduated from Boğaziçi University Civil Engineering deparment which happen to be the best civil engineering department in Turkey. In addition to that, I attended different projects throughout my undergraduate years such as landfill site and bridge construction projects.
I'm currently a master student at Environmental Sciences Institute of the same university and continuing to join different projects. Recently, I focused on climate change and agriculture subjects and writing my thesis on "Agricultural Water Use, Climate Change and Farmer Behaviour".

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
