Experience / Qualifications

As second-in-department for History I am subject lead of KS3 History, Citizenship, and A-Level Government and Politics, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the curriculum and fostering a deep understanding of the among students.

As an A-Level examiner for Edexcel/Pearson, I meticulously assess student responses in Politics examinations. My responsibilities include evaluating exam papers, applying consistent marking criteria, and providing constructive feedback to enhance student performance. I contribute to maintaining the integrity and quality of the examination process, ensuring fairness and accuracy for all candidates.

I have been tutoring in English Literature, Government and Politics and History for over 2 years and have developed comprehensive lesson plans and sessions that cover the A-Level and GCSE curriculums while tailoring teaching methods to individual learning needs, ensuring students are well-prepared for their examinations.

My students for History have resulted in a positive VA outcome with all students who were not predicted to pass the course after intervention all passed with a grade 4 or higher. Many of whom went onto continue studying the subject at A-Level.

In Politics the outcomes for my classes have been high with students gaining a grade B or higher over the last 2 years consistently.

My English expertise has resulted in a 100% grade 5 and higher for my privately tutored students with one student gaining a grade 7 after being predicted a grade 4.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.

In primary and secondary school, I had many friends who struggled with specific subjects, which I didn't. It also happened the other way around. It was great to be able to help each other with this.
