About Me

I am a friendly and easy-going teacher who understands how different students learn. As my doctorate study, I am exploring the importance of how teachers come to know how their students learn best and how teachers act on this knowledge to then shape a learning program suitable for their student.
I am from Sydney, Australia and have lived in Jakarta, Bali and now Belgium. I have taught in international schools for over 15 years and am currently head of Chemistry teaching in an international school in Brussels.
I am comfortable with Netherlands but English is my native language and I give lessons in English. I am able to provide tutoring lessons and additional private classes for students of all ages who wish to study in English. I give lessons of Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography and English; essay writing, reading and research skills. I am also able to help in most other subjects where necessary. (If I don't know what is being taught; then I definately know how to find out.
I have also been hired for a number of years as student support and helping students become organised in order to facillitate their own learning.

Passionate & empathetic teacher. I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths.

Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person.
