My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher. I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career. My name is Irene, I started my career as a cellist in the south of Spain, between Andalusia and Murcia, where I did my bachelor's degree in cello performance. Later I moved to Belgium to continue my studies, where I studied the Master in Classical Music (cello performance) at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. I have been teaching cello for 8 years both in Spanish and English to all ages and levels, combining my teaching activity with the interpretative improvement of my instrument. I have collaborated with numerous national orchestras and I have received master classes from great cellists at an international level. In Belgium, I currently collaborate with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders and the Chamber Orchestra of Flanders, among others. Hello everybody! I'm Maria, a graduate in flute performance at master's level. Besides loving to play my instrument, I have a passion for teaching music and flute. I have had experience with children who were starting studying music and flute, including those preparing for their entrance exam to an academy! I have also worked with more advanced students, deepening the improvement of their base and technique in playing the instrument to perfect it always with a very positive working environment! If you want to start learning to play this instrument, I can be of great help to make your first steps easy and fun! We can learn how to read notes and rythms also, and create a good playing technique with exercises to practice not only in class but also at home. If you are already a flute student and would like to receive extra support for your lessons at school, I will be happy to work with you to get the most out of the instrument and your musical skills. My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge. If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas. I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language. After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent. I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty. I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject! Sometimes one can forget how important the use of the body is and how the right use can make everything easier, that's why I like to introduce my students to different fields related to body and mental relaxation.

I am a passionate, versatile classical musician who has found a special connection with her instrument. Hello everyone! My name is Anni, a Hungarian violinist and I am a recent academic graduate with a Master degree in Music. I did my Master studies in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and recently moved to Ghent. I give violin lessons to people of all ages from beginners until bachelor. Besides this basic music theory and initiation piano lessons too. I speak fluently Hungarian, English, A2 level German, and started to learn Dutch too. The lessons are built by personal wishes and developing their musical talents step by step.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

The lessons are adapted to the level of the students. From starters until bachelor, from kids to adults. The metholodogy will variate according to the purpouses of the students. The students age 3 can also start playing the violin or the viola.
