In our Oud class, I will guide you through everything from basic to advanced techniques. We will cover playing for all levels, correct left-hand use, synchronizing with the right hand, handling the pick, tuning the Oud, and effectively using a tuner and metronome. In the remaining time, we will dive into reading musical notes, starting with basic Solfege and progressing to advanced and oriental Solfege, including dictation exercises. I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. The course curriculum varies from one student to another depending on his level of education on the instrument.

For students who have no previous experience, we start with special exercises for the right and left hand to play the instrument correctly and comfortably, in addition to learning to read the notes and solfege correctly, and then we continue and gradually increase the degree of difficulty of the exercises until you become able to play any note you want.
