I have more than 7 years of experience teaching Spanish and English to kids from 4-12 years old through fun and interactive activities. My classes are focused on comprehensible input and I try for my students to be as active as possible during the class.

I'm Salina and I'm half Spanish and half American. I currently live in Spain, and I have also lived in Barcelona and Belgium.

Besides Spanish and English I also speak Italian and a little bit of Dutch. Languaues are my passion and I love to teach my mother tongue, Spanish.

I adapt the classes to what the student needs, looking for topics that are useful for him or her depending on the field in which he or she intends to apply the use of the language.

I usually structure the class in two parts: the first part I focus on speaking, using resources such as images or presentations if necessary.

The last 20-30 minutes I like to dedicate to reading or quick grammar activities to support the conversation.

I use visual resources to make learning more interactive and dynamic. If you have any suggestions or ideas I would love to hear them!

Education

I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Seville and although it has little to do with languages I am passionate about them! I speak Italian, which I learned during university and later living in Italy for a few months. I also speak a little bit of Dutch, which I learned while living in Belgium. I currently live in Cadiz and run my online illustration business which I combine with teaching conversational Spanish to adults.

My classes focus on acquiring fluency in speaking, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary.

Hi there!

I am Salina and half Spanish and half American although I have lived all my life in the south of Spain, in Cádiz and Seville.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English to children and 2 years of experience teaching conversational English to adults. My classes focus on acquiring fluency when speaking, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary.
