Since I can remember, I’ve had an interest in photography. My father is a professional photographer, and my mother an artist who always encouraged me to be creative and use my imagination.

One of my first memories as a toddler was seeing my father develop his photos. in the then seemingly mysterious and magical darkroom. I started asking him many questions about photography from a young age. My first camera, of the simple point-and-shoot variety, was an important formative gift, but also a slight disappointment. Being a “big girl” at four years old, I had hoped for a “real” (professional) camera.

From there on in my passion for photography grew. I’ve learnt various skills over the years, started with old film cameras, then proceeded to digital SLRs and editing techniques. I love photographing people, capturing natural moments, zooming into the hidden or small things, telling a story, sensing nuances and creating beautiful images for people to cherish for the rest of their lives.

Este curso de fotografía está diseñado para introducir a los participantes en el arte y la técnica de capturar imágenes impactantes. A través de una combinación de teoría, práctica y análisis visual, los estudiantes aprenderán los fundamentos del manejo de la cámara, la composición, la luz y el enfoque creativo.

Durante el curso, se explorarán distintos géneros fotográficos —como retrato, paisaje, documental y fotografía urbana—, al mismo tiempo que se desarrollan habilidades técnicas en el uso de cámaras DSLR, mirrorless o incluso smartphones.

Al finalizar, los participantes serán capaces de dominar los conceptos esenciales de la fotografía, editar sus imágenes con criterio visual y construir una narrativa visual coherente y personal.

Illustrator is a great application that meets today's advertising needs. The focus of this course is carefully crafted, moving away from traditional teaching approaches in this discipline. It is essential to establish a knowledge link between color modes, the products that can be created with this application, integration with other applications, and different formats, such as the use of Excel spreadsheets to create interactive, mass-produced brochures with detailed information connected with markers.

Regarding integration, we will use two sister applications of Illustrator: Photoshop and InDesign for the creation of magazines.
