I use a variety of tools and programs in my teaching, including Logic Pro, Cubase, and Sibelius, depending on the student’s level and goals. With these, we learn to: Write music by hand and digitally. Create original compositions and orchestral arrangements. Record and produce our own performances. One of my favorite aspects of teaching children is working through storytelling and emotional expression. Have you ever imagined what Peter Pan’s musical theme might sound like? How can music express the adventurous nature of such a character? Children love discovering how sound can describe their dreams, fears, and hopes — and this process is not only fun, but also deeply enriching.
