(LIVE or ONLINE) Piano, improvisation, composition and music theory lessons (Rotterdam)
David
I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each.
About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz.
We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation.
Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week.

Enjoy learning how to play the violin (+4 years old). Introduction to the World of Music (0-4 years old) (The Hague)
Laura
We feel so lucky to have found Laura as my daughter’s violin teacher. Not only is she a skilled musician, she’s a wonderful instructor who is able to effectively engage with young kids (my daughter was four when she started lessons). I’ve observed Laura as both structured and flexible — her lessons are planned with purpose, but she also has back-up ideas if a kid’s energy isn’t a good match for the day’s agenda. I love seeing my daughter’s skill and confidence grow in such a warm, supportive learning environment. I wholeheartedly recommend lessons with Laura for any child interested in exploring the violin!

Native Spanish Teacher for Foreigners +20 Years of Experience (Málaga)
Marta
I have recently taken a good number of Spanish lessons with Marta and I am quite happy with how much I have learned and with the overall experience.
Marta is a very experienced teacher. She effectively steered the lessons into areas where I needed improvement and always found interesting subjects to work with so that the sessions were useful and fun. I would enroll again in the future.
