I am an experienced electronic music producer and enthusiastic teacher with students of different levels.

I love sharing my knowledge and to inspire other producers and musicians. I like to focus on the individual skills and goals, and to make specific lesson plans based on each student needs (i.e. for beginners - have a full understanding of production techniques and software features / produce releasable tracks within 6 months; for advanced students - finding a signature sound, improving sound design and mixing skills)

Because of my expertise and versatility, I can teach many different styles of music. As an artist, I mainly focus on producing techno, IDM and house but I have a broad understanding of contemporary music and current trends because of my strong background as a drummer.

It will be a relaxed and fun environment that I will look to create, so there'll be no need for you to worry about feeling tense or under pressure.

I currently offer teaching and mentoring in the following areas:

- Music/Audio Production

- Guitar Performance

- Music Theory

My methods are generally adapted to each individual’s needs and objectives, however, they do not include classical music training approaches, such as sight reading or formal classical music training. Instead, my approach focuses on developing an intuitive understanding of music, through understanding elements such as intervalic structures, mathematical permutations, analogies derived from other disciplines etc. The ultimate goal of my approach is to allow the individual to form a way of thinking, which will allow she/he to compose, produce or play ANY type of music.

I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios).

I would love to help you reach your specific goals in Audio production and pass on my knowledge. Students can bring their works in Progress for feedback and to be worked on, or they can ask in advance to learn more about a specific area of audio production (For example, recording techniques for drums or piano, mixing techniques for live recordings or for electronic music).

I have many years of experience in writing songs electronically, and for live instruments, for artists in the UK and the USA. If you want to learn more about songwriting, this is another area I would be happy to help with.
