Composition & Arrangement for various ensembles. You will learn how to write out your melodies and themes for different ensembles and instrument combinations. Think of strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, or bands within jazz, pop, and rock. We explore the unique timbres and possibilities of each instrument.
Harmony at the Piano & Music Theory. We use keyboard harmony and keyboard voicings (chords and chord melodies) as a practical, hands-on tool to make music theory immediately logical. Through functional harmony and harmonic progressions, you discover how music is truly structured. We apply this theory directly to your own pieces, songs, or arrangements.
Styles: From classical and cinematic to pop, rock, jazz, world music, electronic music and beyond.
Age & Level: Open to all ages and levels (from songwriters to advanced composers).
Languages: The lessons are taught in English, Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, or Portuguese.
