Experienced online tutor with a personal approach gives tutoring and exam training mathematics

Through a personal and involved approach, I ensure that students feel comfortable and dare to ask anything from the first lesson. My lessons are an alternation of theory and progressive exercises, from the method or proposed by myself, supplemented with homework assignments. I teach the lessons online, I share my "blackboard" via an application and many of my students have had good experiences with this. I am also very patient, a quality that comes in very handy when tutoring.

As an experienced private tutor I can help with geography (substructure), biology (substructure), German, English, French, history, Greek and Latin culture, Latin, social studies 1, Dutch & mathematics A / C.

I have been helping high school students with these courses for almost 12 years; I can also help primary school students with English, maths and language.

I specialize in IBDP Economics HL/SL, Maths HL, Chemistry HL/SL and Physics HL/SL. I got my IB Diploma in May 2019. I can help with exam preparation, learning content, assignments, organization and time management skills.
My tutoring aims to challenge the student, but not overwhelm them, and to first make sure their concepts are clear and that they understand the material. I can help them get rid of any misconceptions and doubts they may have.

I feel like I would make a great tutor as I know my subject very well and am part of the latest IBDP graduating class as well, making my knowledge of the system very reliable and fresh.

Deze les is voor studenten in het HBO of op de universiteit die moeite hebben met statistiek en statistische analyses. Mijn streven is om jou aan het eind van de lessen voldoende handvaten te geven, zodat jij zelf verder kan.

For example, it offers solutions to difficult issues such as those that arise in the financial world, or for example to climate change, DNA issues and technological developments that require a lot of calculations. Mathematics is not only a way of reasoning, it is also a tool to arrive at an accurate solution. This way you will be able to see connections more quickly and develop an analytical capacity. With mathematics you train your brain to calculate faster, but also to make well-founded decisions.

Ik ben Sofia en geef al heel veel jaren met plezier bijles en huiswerkbegeleiding aan leerlingen van verschillende middelbare niveaus (ook online!). Heeft u(w kind) structurele hulp nodig, hulp met de proefwerkweek, zijn er examens niet gehaald of moet er in de zomervakantie wat worden bijgespijkerd? Wellicht kan ik helpen! Stuur me vrijblijvend een bericht en vertel me om welke vakken het zal gaan+niveau. Dan kunnen we afstemmen wat er nodig is en/of waar ik kan helpen.

Over mezelf: Naast mijn huidige werk geef ik bijles, omdat ik merk dat ik er veel leerlingen mee help en dit mij plezier geeft. Zelf heb ik altijd gestudeerd (nog steeds vind ik het leuk om studies naast mijn werk te doen) en 8 jaar terug alweer heb ik een Master behaald aan de Universiteit van Leiden. Ik geef al 10+ jaar bijles en huiswerkbegeleiding (ook examentraining).

Ik help leerlingen met onderwerpen die ze niet goed begrijpen, maak sommen met hen en bereid hen voor op toetsen en examens. Probeer ook over te brengen dat wiskunde een prachtig en nuttig vak is. In bijna alles van het dagelijks leven komt wiskunde op de één of andere wijze voor. Denk aan de cconstructie van gebouwen, het runnen van een organisatie, het doorgronden van de klimaatcrisis etc.

Therefore, I will provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where you feel comfortable and can be yourself.

In short, my math class is designed to help you succeed in school and in life. With my expertise and personal approach, you will enjoy the math lesson and be motivated to learn and grow.

In mathematics there are always steps to understanding and mastering all the material. To do that, I will give you steps to master mathematics and be able to apply it in all tests and even exams.

I myself did pre-university education, where I ended the school period with an 8.3 for mathematics A and then also an 8.6 for the final exam.

I'm a year 6 student in pre-university education (VWO). I can teach all classes from grades 1 to 4. I can teach chemistry, math, and physics. I can teach in English, Dutch, and Turkish. I can also help the student during their exam weeks.
