With a great passion for music and extensive experience with the guitar, I believe you will learn very quickly with my fun approach to learning.

Education

The Academy of Contemporary Music is an amazing university where I studied in Guildford, England. I first learnt the basics along with music theory with private tuition since the age of 15. I wish to share all that I have learnt with as many people as possible.

Guitar - Music Industry Practice +12 years of experience. I can read and write notation and teach anyone how this is done from the beginning. I can teach you various finger style techniques, all the chords as well as the caged system. You will unlock the whole fretboard and a whole new style of playing.

Having recently obtained my masters degree in Music from the University of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland, I have been teaching piano, music theory and electroacoustic music for 8 years.

As a former student of the Conservatoire de Musique of Geneva and a music technology undergrad, I offer a tailored program to your needs and wishes. EVERY CHILD CAN! Learning to play the guitar according to the Suzuki method is more than just music! We learn by the approach of the "Mother Tongue", playing and having fun. As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument!
I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. My classes can also take the status of personal work support; in this case, students can obviously bring me their scores worked with their main teacher, or those they play in chamber music / orchestra.

In short: The violin is an art, it learns yes, but we play! :)

At the moment I am studying at the magistracy of the composition department in Haute école de musique de Genève. In addition, I already have two full educations - choral (secondary) and composer (higher). I graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory as a composer, took part in concerts and competitions in Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland as a choir singer or pianist. Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

Want to learn to play, (re)gain confidence, or simply make your favorite songs sound like they do on stage by the stove? I offer acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass lessons at home or via video.

What I propose:

A tailor-made course: we start with what you like. Your favorite songs guide the progression; I build technique and ear around your repertoire (rock, folk, chanson, blues, metal, funk, etc.).

Sheet music, oral, visual, annotations or adapted scores are all tools that I keep at my disposal according to needs. Music theory can help some people, in certain forms and in measured doses, while others, on the contrary, do not need it.
