I offer violin lessons for all ages and levels, everyone is welcome!
I have teaching experience with all age groups from six years upwards.

Hello! I am Lara from Zürich and I am currently studying at the Music Academy of Basel.
I am a passionate violinplayer and teacher and I always loved to work with people. It is always very interesting and nice to see how each individual approaches things differently and it makes me happy to be able to figure things out together :).

Je propose des cours de flûte traversière, de tous niveaux et également un soutien ou un éveil au solfège, afin d'avoir des bases nécessaires à l'apprentissage d'un instrument. Je suis ouverte à toute sorte de musique bien que spécialisée dans la musique classique. Je suis étudiante à la haute école de musique de Bern.

Mes disponibilités sont très variables, c'est pour cela quel serait préférable d'en parler au cas par cas.

I am currently studying at Bern University of the Arts, passionate about teaching (children, teenagers and adults) I am looking for motivated students.
I teach the recorder (soprano, alto, tenor and bass).
I like to work on the implication and the corporal engagement (method of breath etc ...) in connection with the instrument.
I focus my classes on early music (from the medieval period to the late Baroque).
For beginner children I always try to give them a taste for music through listening, duet play and rhythmic aspiration.

Graduated from the University of Music of Geneva and currently a student in the Master Orchestra at the High School of Music in Lucerne, I offer courses flute all levels (beginner to advanced). Adults and children are welcome.

Only the good mood and the desire to learn are required!

My teaching experience in conservatory as well as in particular, allows me to approach different musical horizons by adapting to the needs and desires of my students.

Special support in music theory is possible in addition to the topics covered during the lessons.

I can move home to the city of Basel and surroundings.

As a student in the Master Musikpädagogik at the Hoschule für Musik in Basel, I teach harp lessons for all levels and all ages.

I build my teaching on the basis of the progressive acquisition of instrumental technique and the development of creativity and musicality.
I propose a wide repertoire, ranging from classical music to current music, through jazz, folk song and traditional music (Celtic, South America etc ...).
For beginners in music, I integrate theoretical points of reading notes, rhythm, musical knowledge, always related to the instrument and the repertoire worked.

The pleasure of playing is, in my opinion, an essential element for successful music learning. That's why I first want to know the motivations and goals of my students to adapt my method to their expectations.

I like to start from the point of the student, observe his/her abailities and focus a lot on how the body itself can help to develop a good connection with the instrument, in order to create a fluid interraction between the person and the music. For this I try to use my knwoledges of the Alexander Technique. It is important that the position of the instrument is compatible with the body of the student. Furthermore, I like to approach a diverse repertoire from the early baroque period and make the student discover the history of the music in its context. Learning by heart, memorize melodies is also a part of my pedagogy.

After my studies of modern violin in France, I studied in Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and got two Masters in baroque and romantic violin. I have also a degree as Solfège teacher. I am taking Alexander Technique lessons and use it in my own practice and pedagogy.
