I’m Rico. I entered MBO level 2 (lowest Dutch education level) without qualifications and worked my way up to a bachelor’s and master’s in physics and astronomy at the University of Amsterdam. I recently completed my PhD there in December 2023. I live with my girlfriend and two dogs in IJburg, Amsterdam, where we enjoy our time. During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure.
