I have supported students preparing for A-Level Italian, professionals working with the Italian market, and people planning to travel or move to Italy. I teach Italian (and English) using the Direct Communicative Method. This means we focus on speaking and understanding Italian in real, everyday situations. From the very beginning, you will learn Italian by actively using it. Our lessons will take place almost entirely in Italian. If you’re a beginner, we can use a little English at first, but the goal is to build your confidence so you can speak naturally and comfortably. We will also work on grammar, pronunciation, reading, listening, and writing, according to your needs. I have experience teaching all ages and levels: from primary school children to professionals, in companies, language centres, and public schools. I’m also very comfortable teaching online, and I use shared drives, digital materials, and interactive tools to make the lessons clear, organised, and enjoyable. I provide all useful digital resources, but you’re welcome to use a physical textbook if you prefer. If you’re passionate about travelling to Italy, planning to relocate, working with Italian clients, or simply fascinated by the language, I can help you learn and enjoy Italian!

As someone struggling with learning programming in Python for so long, Jerry's lessons literally saved me. His clear explanations helped me understand the concepts better, and the examples he provided helped me concretize the topics in my mind so that I was able to apply them by myself later. He was very patient and helpful when explaining the topics and when giving me time to think about the possible formulations of the algorithms, which released the stress of passing my university course and enabled me to actually understand the essence of Python and how to think when programming.
