Regularly rated 5 STARS on Google Page and a creator of a well-loved community of learner violinists, my name is Cheryl, and I offer highly unique and very enjoyable lessons to anyone who wants to challenge themselves with the violin. Do not be fooled - it's a tough instrument to play well! With my guidance and a special interest in postural health, you will quickly learn the basics with some regular effort. I especially encourage students to meet with other students in order to get to know each other on a human level. An alum of the ABRSM, Suzuki, American and European conservatory systems (Masters with Magna cum Laude), and relentlessly studying to become better and better every week, I filter through 'The Book' to find the most effective and efficient way for the individual learner. We will find out what sounds appeal to you, and teach your unique 'voice' to come out. With a little technique and a LOT of good taste, there's no knowing where your violin can take you! Come yourself, or with a friend or even with your child, and explore the infinite depths of real music-making! (Pssst: It's never really what we expect in the beginning!) I specialize in guiding students for the best private schools and universities out there. I focus on the IB diploma, A levels, IGCSEs, MYP, AP, SAT's, ACT's, entrance and university exams. I have helped many students with learning difficulties and students from all over the world. I feel that my desire to help and my interest in meeting new people makes me successful when faced with new challenges. I was appointed Head of Science at Salesian College Farnborough because I have a passion for math and science and love helping others. I studied Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering at Bath University. During my studies, I spent a year working on CERN: The Large Hadron Collider and was awarded the "Inspirational Leader" award by my university. We had highly informative, engaging, and inspiring lessons with Nancy. We started with fashion illustrations and the intricacies of technical drawing, then progressed to deep discussions about brand identity and the creative process. We also explored collection creation, along with the business and marketing aspects of a fashion company. I was pleasantly surprised by Nancy’s depth of highly practical and applicable knowledge, as well as the expertise she possesses in both fashion and marketing. I am looking forward to our future lessons and continuing to learn from her. I highly recommend Nancy as a very talented, friendly, and professional teacher.

Nadim is very approachable and knowledgeable ,very reliable and always on time, the classes I had so far were very comforting and “custom made”. He makes sure to come back with all the explanations and is willing to provide extra material for the class. His experience in giving math and French classes is helping a lot . I would surely recommend him to anybody who is willing to learn Arabic from the scratch.

Matt has been really helpful, professional, fun and patient teaching our 15 year old son how to play the acoustic guitar in preparation for exams. Our son has found a connection with the instrument and is enjoying the process very much and enjoys the lessons with Matt.
