Hi there! Here is some information about how I envision the courses. I approach the subject according to the needs of the student but I try to favor the oral as much as possible and of course the target language. These can be simple conversations to practice the language or support lessons. With me you will speak British English BUT I know lots of things about the US too ;) Regarding grammar, I favor simple and effective explanations in context and practice by giving you tips and tricks to make a minimum of errors. Do not hesitate if you have any questions!

Hello my name is Sheena, I am a French native speaker born in Brussels 32 years ago. My teaching focuses on speaking French in a natural way, rather than this formal French you learn at school and don't recognize once you are in the real world. Together we will slowly but surely discover French in a new and interactive light, finding out more about culture, current topics, and general topics to express your needs and opinions in a effective way. I will provide and guide you through different tools (audio, books, etc.) to help you progress. I have been teaching French for various companies as a freelance, as well as in private language schools for 6 years. It means I have seen people from all nationalities, levels, background and age. I have also been teaching online for two years because of the pandemic, and have collected a large amount of material. Let's start soon!

The English language proves to be a useful and important tool in everyday life. It allows you to travel almost anywhere with confidence. Having established itself as the first international language, developing one's knowledge of that language offers only advantages. I am a first-year student of Translation and Interpretation in English and Spanish. Having always enjoyed practicing the English language, I would now like to share my knowledge with others and eventually pass on my love for languages because, in my opinion, learning a language should not be a chore but rather a fun learning. The course will focus mainly on a revision of the grammar, a work on the correct pronunciation of the words -essential to be well understood-as well as the discovery and learning of new vocabulary words.
