Guitar lessons "Live method" in Lausanne & around

Guitar lessons "Live method" in Lausanne & around

Guitarist for 30 years, I have acquired great experience in music. The aim of this course is to learn to play with other musicians. This is the essence of music for a musician. This course is an opportunity to play “live”, or “live”. Playing LIVE is not only playing in front of an audience, it's playing IN THE MOMENT. One of the things I see most often in class: a student playing a sequence of chords, a riff or a musical motif, who makes a mistake, and stops in his tracks to replay the missed game . This sort of thing, like leaving a blank in the passage between two chords, should not happen when you practice enough. The whole point of playing live is to keep playing even if you make a mistake. This is how we really progress. Playing live with another musician is: - play respecting the rhythm - know how to balance the sound - listen to the other, the other's game - develop your own game, while integrating and respecting each other's game - improvise, alone and / or in pairs - play in the moment, develop musical spontaneity - play without a net, “catch up” on an error, whether it is ours or that of the other musician - above all, one of the advantages of playing with other people is the immense PLEASURE that it provides - an incomparable feeling of satisfaction. - the other big advantage is that we progress ten times faster! :) A typical course will be divided into two parts: - the LIVE part, where we will play the song (s) studied - the more theoretical part, or learning, where we will return to what we have played as a basis for work and improvement As a working material / tool, we will record the live sessions, which will be used to listen again, target the points to be worked on, and as a reference for the progress achieved. In addition, the student will be able to listen and work from the recordings at home, or in his spare time. All stages of learning are important, and the usual, more “normal” lessons are fundamental, especially for those who are starting out or who are in a stuck phase, that is to say they feel limited or do not unable to move to a higher level. In all these cases, it is better to start with more classic courses. I give this kind of course too, don't hesitate to contact me, I can help you better assess your level, define your goals and help you reach them. I look forward to sharing with you my passion for the guitar! See you soon.

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. Flamenco, Modern, and Classical guitar lessons - professional musician with over 20 years of teaching experience. Effective method.

Flamenco, Modern, and Classical guitar lessons - professional musician with over 20 years of teaching experience. Effective method.

PROFESSIONAL GUITARIST, COMPOSER, MUSIC AND GUITAR TEACHER Beginner-Advanced Level Experience: I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students. Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method. My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc. For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music. Methodology: I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals. Generally, the first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique, focusing on proper placement, execution, and relaxation, which will result in a good sound. Over time, I've realized that it's also a way to connect with the guitar, concentrate, and warm up. So, little by little, we'll develop our routine, which will begin by working on basic rhythmic aspects. The second half is dedicated to playing, trying to put into practice what we learned about the technique with the sticks or studying other concerns of the student, which may be a theme, harmony, falsetas, improvisation, or even other styles, etc., always obviously taking into account the search or interest of the student. FLAMENCO - Flamenco technique - Palos (Tangos, Bulerías, Alegrías, Soleá, Taranta...) - Accompaniment to singing and dancing - Clapping and rhythms MODERN GUITAR - Harmony - Improvisation - Repertoire (rumbas, pop, jazz, rock, etc.) CLASSIC - Reading, solfège and interpretation. - Works - I work with progressive learning books

Guitar lessons: Private online lessons for all levels of Guitar

Guitar lessons: Private online lessons for all levels of Guitar

I am only prepared to go as fast as you are willing to practice and if that is not much then we will use the lessons to have fun and explore music while you find your rhythm. If you have found an instrument that interests you or you want to try many then that is great. Most students start out by choosing covers they wish they could play, songs that they love and want to show off and this can be done within one or two lessons which is very gratifying. Scales, theory and technicality come later if desired or when we are making great progression. If you are technically sound and driven however and wish to do exams, I can prep you for this easily but do not sign up with exam boards or institutions for you - this would have to be done yourself. I currently have a student studying for Grade 6 MTB flute. All you require is the instrument and yourself. I will provide the rest and my teaching method depends on what you require. For guitar and piano I use chords and tabs from ultimate guitar and want to get you playing your favourite songs as quickly as possible. If technical classical playing on any instrument is what you require then I will provide you with pictures and diagrams sourced from various parts of the web that I find explain everything easily and I incorporate them with my own images and notes. Every lesson you will be left with an image on your email or platform, that highlights the areas we worked on that day. I also create my own backing, harmony and rhythm tracks for whatever it is you may be learning. So that you can play, clap and sing along.

Guitar classes with the professional teacher with 18 years of playing and 7 years of teaching experience

Hello, my future student! I would love to offer you a different approach to the guitar music you love! I am an experienced guitar teacher with seven years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. During the pandemic, I also started teaching online, and I have continued offering online lessons ever since. My students come from different backgrounds and have a wide range of musical interests. Sometimes they introduce me to music I have never heard before — and I love that! We can learn the songs and repertoire you enjoy while also building the skills you need to become a confident and versatile guitarist. Of course, good musicianship comes with good technique, and I will make sure you develop a solid technical foundation so that you can feel more comfortable and free when playing the music you love. Whether you are looking for a guitar teacher for your child or finally want to make your dream of learning guitar as an adult come true, you can expect our lessons to be both fun and effective. My international experience includes concerts and studies across Europe, including Serbia, Slovakia, Poland, and Spain. Along the way, I studied music pedagogy and earned diplomas in both Performing Arts and Music Pedagogy from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Lessons are available in English, Spanish, Serbian, or Slovak. If you would like to know more about the lessons, feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to answer your questions. See you soon! 🎸 Isidora

“ Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more. ”

“ I've been thoroughly enjoying my online music lessons with Leandro. What stands out to me the most is his thoughtful approach and attention to detail in every aspect of each class and exercise. Leandro goes beyond just providing material; he teaches how to practice it effectively. I particularly appreciate the well-laid-out assignments he provides after each class, which help me stay focused and motivated. ”

“ My first class.. and I started quite confidently. He made me understand the beats and counting so easily. It was indeed smooth. Was not at all uncomfortable. ”
