I offer tailor-made individual German seminars for levels A1 (beginner) to C2 (perfect mastery). My goal is to make my student independent as quickly as possible. THE METHOD Contrary to popular belief, German is a very tame language. You are certainly familiar with the language courses at school. You are given lists to learn by heart and you are asked to do exercises completely unrelated to the reality of a speaker. We explain grammar to you by confusing French grammar and German grammar. This is why no one manages to express themselves in German having undergone this kind of method which has proven for a century that it does not work. With me, my student has a second chance thanks to intelligent theory and pragmatic methodology. Indeed, I am currently writing a book on the acquisition of foreign languages. After three years spent in London and two years in New York, I fluent in English. I also have a perfect command of French (mother tongue level). I have been giving private lessons in English and French since 2011 whether in New York, London, Luxembourg or Paris. I have taught students of all ages (from 5 years old to 80 years old) and coming from very different fields (school, academic, professional, private). I also worked as an educational advisor with the Moonkeys organization, which offers educational workshops in English and French to children aged seven to fifteen. I set up a storytelling workshop around the principles of storytelling, script and character creation by integrating digital tools such as stop motion and video editing. Group or individual lessons are structured around oral and written expression and comprehension and aim at the same time as an initiation into English and French culture. Tom is a great teacher with a high patience. I am a slow learner, fortunately he give his time to me to learn. The lessons are just right in terms of speed. The homeworks are mostly challenging which makes me exciting. Take your German lessons from Tom... UND VIEL SPASS :)
