It is suitable for beginners and early-intermediate users who want to explore visuals in a musical and performance-oriented context. We look at how visuals can be created, structured, and performed in relation to sound. Starting from basic setups and visual ideas, we move toward building animated and real-time visual systems that can be used for performances, installations, or audiovisual works. The emphasis is on understanding visuals as time-based systems, rather than relying on templates or ready-made effects. From capturing significant events, photos of yourself, or even taking pictures of delicious coffees you order. It is essential nowadays that you can take clean, crisp images on your very own smartphone. I've created this course to help you create professional-looking photos, all taken and edited on your phones. You'll learn how to take pictures at certain angles, the different modes you can use on your phone to take photos, the various kinds of photography you can achieve, and how to edit high-quality images, all with the default apps. In this class, the discussions will be very different per individual and what they want to achieve out of this course. For some, that may be finding a consistent art style that feels right to them, or maybe they need to find a simplified style for their comics or animations. Maybe they love their style, but something feels wrong, or they need direction on how to advance their skills. I can give insight to all of it! I specialize in using Clip Studio Paint, though I've dabbled in Procreate and many physical mediums. However, the medium will only be important in the case that the student requests information on how to achieve a certain look to their art via tools and not skillset. (ex: how to tween on CSP)
