Hi! I am a classically trained pianist and am graduating from the Utrecht Conservatory this year. My passion for the piano started at a young age: I started taking lessons when I was seven, after convincing my parents to enroll me.

From the age of thirteen, I started assisting my teacher and was already teaching younger students, from children as young as 3 to teenagers. As a result, I have built up extensive experience in teaching various ages and levels.

As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, patient, and have a positive attitude. My lessons are structured, but also fun and motivating, so that students can develop at their own pace while simultaneously enjoying playing.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject.

Hi, I’m Heewon from South Korea and I currently study music in HKU Conservatory.

For about 14 years I have studied various aspects of music, I’ve studied piano, vocals and composition, and now I am studying piano in the jazz and pop course. Not only have I played lots of jazz and pop, I have played lots of classical, neo-soul and gospel, to me it’s important to be well versed in lots of genre’s.
