Let's learn and grow!
My teaching encompasses a broad range of elements, from styles like pop, funk, blues and jazz to more specific techniques such as fingerstyle, experimenting with open tunings, improvisation, sound exploration and the creative use of guitar pedals. My lessons are open to all "levels"—from beginners taking their first steps to advanced musicians seeking to refine their artistry and push their creative boundaries. I have a lot of theory and teaching techniques that I learned at the coservatory to share and help you grow.
Teaching at my space in utrecht and online.

I am Alain, married and have two daughters and have lived in the Netherlands since 2017. Before this I lived in China for 15 years where I worked as a professional musician. I am originally from Mauritius where I also worked as a musician. I have years of experience teaching acoustic guitar and bass guitar to both children and adults.
Are you already advanced and do you want to improve yourself or have you never played and are you looking for someone who will teach you the basics first and then help you get better? Then you've come to the right place.
I can read music but prefer to play without sheet music to really feel the music and to express my own creativity in the music.

Fun, emersive classes meant to draw to the student to the foundations of rock/blues and guitar in general. I have 20 years of experience playing the guitar. I have played for several groups a few years back and want to continue introducing students to my love for acoustic guitar!
