I have been playing Classical Guitar for 14 years. I have always practiced the greatest repertoire from Ancient Music (Dowland, Sanz, Bach), Modern and Contemporary (Paganini, Tarrega, Villa-Lobos, Brouwer) while experimenting other genres (Blues, Rock, Ragtime, Progressive, Pop) and composing music myself.
My goal is to valorise an activity that is both methodical and rigorous as well as creative and entertaining as Music itself.

Présentation

I am Italian, I am 27 years old and I am working in Utrecht. I got my Bachelor and Master Degree in Philosophy of Science and Logic in Genova and Florence, spending some months in Munich as well.
Art and Culture are my main interests: I am very passionate about Philosophy of Ecology and Critical Thinking about Ecological issues, beside being a "full-time" reader and writer.
Also, I love playing and composing on my classical guitar, which I've been playing for 14 years now.
Nature and conviviality are my inspiration and my end point!

- Diploma in Agroecology ("Scuola Diffusa della Terra Emilio Sereni", Florence, Italy)

Expérience / Qualifications

Long experience in support lessons for students of Secondary and Highschool (since 2011), which allowed me to consolidate a certain experience in the application of different teaching methods, in relationship with students' specific and special needs (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, attention deficit).

I am Alain, married and have two daughters and have lived in the Netherlands since 2017. Before this I lived in China for 15 years where I worked as a professional musician. I am originally from Mauritius where I also worked as a musician. I have years of experience teaching acoustic guitar and bass guitar to both children and adults.
Are you already advanced and do you want to improve yourself or have you never played and are you looking for someone who will teach you the basics first and then help you get better? Then you've come to the right place.
I can read music but prefer to play without sheet music to really feel the music and to express my own creativity in the music.

Fun, emersive classes meant to draw to the student to the foundations of rock/blues and guitar in general. I have 20 years of experience playing the guitar. I have played for several groups a few years back and want to continue introducing students to my love for acoustic guitar!
