About Me

I'm a native English teacher, a student of Spanish, a veteran of the US Army and a former American football coach. I enjoy traveling and have spent some years living outside the US in Macedonia, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Mexico.

We'll review the sections of the exam that you want to work on together, as some students preparing for the TOEFL iBT only want tutoring on a specific section.

We isolate each task to discuss the best strategy for each, then practice it. When you're comfortable, then we'll move on to the next task. I can provide homework if you'd like and I can also provide additional materials if there's something that needs fixing, like a particular grammar topic.
