I am an Italian synthetic organic chemist by training, having completed my undergraduate and post-graduate education in University of Milan, where I specialised in organic chemistry with a thesis on the total synthesis of a natural compound called Evodiamine. I then moved to the UK, where I was awarded a PhD on synthetic methodology on the synthesis of statically hindered cyclopropanes. I later took several post-doctoral experiences in medicinal chemistry, and also gained industrial experience in CRO, progressing form Senior role to Leader.
Aside from chemistry lesson, I am very happy to help students to improve their italian, or develop a closer understanding of latin.

Met veel passie wil ik je de mooie Italiaanse taal aanleren volgens jouw behoeften. Wil je een snelcursus ter voorbereiding op je vakantie of wil je de taal stap voor stap goed onder de knie krijgen, wil jij je voorbereiden op een examen, ... het kan allemaal.

Ben jij nieuwkomer in België en wil je het Nederlands aanleren/bijschaven of heeft je kind van de lagere school en / of 1ste graad middelbaar huiswerkbegeleiding nodig?
Als gediplomeerde leerkracht met een opleiding Gezinswetenschappen kan dit in een gemoedelijke sfeer op een professionele manier.

Zit jou kind in de lagere school en heeft het hulp nodig bij het maken van het huiswerk of heeft je kind extra uitleg nodig, dat kan allemaal aangeboden worden in een gemoedelijke sfeer bij mij of bij jou thuis, maar het kan ook online.
Ik bied ook hulp voor het vak Frans in het 1ste en 2de middelbaar.

As a chemistry teacher, it is of course always nice to help people with difficulties outside of school.
I personally teach students with learning difficulties, which often makes it easy to identify problems and work on them.
I am someone who is very easy to communicate with, which makes it easier to stay interested and process the learning material.

My knowledge of chemistry is quite extensive. Both organic and inorganic chemistry.
I mainly teach in the 1st and 2nd grades (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th secondary school).
I have a lot of teaching materials and methods to help you master the material.
Even if you have a huge backlog (e.g. due to switching a course of study), it is no problem (provided enough effort) to help you get started.
