I am Teacher Zhuang. I have been teaching piano for 22 years. I specialize in teaching piano and piano theory courses. I worked as a piano teacher in a school in Hong Kong five years ago and have a good communication relationship with students.

Learning how to play the piano is not only musically enriching as it is one of the easier instruments to pick up if you are new to music, giving you a solid base of musical understanding, but also will boost your confidence in general being able to recognise pitches with multiple voicings as we work up the grades. I adopt a goal-oriented teaching style: - we will work through ABRSM grades -- breaking down the work needed to master all the way from scales to exam pieces to aural to sight reading.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Hi! I am a piano teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I specialize in online piano teaching and I choose individual program for each of my students. I teach all around the globe, mostly students from China and Canada. I grew up in family of musicians. My father plays the viola in Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Poland and my mother teaches theory and history of music. I have two sisters who are also musicians. Later I moved to Canada to continue my education with professor Lee Kum Sing at Vancouver Academy of Music (2017-2019). During my career I have achieved numerous awards on many significant piano competitions. I become platinum winner at Vancouver International Music Competition in 2017 which was held to celebrate 150th Canada’s birthday. I became Platinum Cash Prize Winner and achieved numerous extra prices. In October 2015 I accomplished the second round of XVII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. This achievement is a promotion to the top 30 world best young pianists. I achieved 3rd place twice (2013, 2015) in the National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. In 2008, I won the first prize and the Special Award of Elżbieta Stefańska for the best performance of Johann Sebastian Bach piece at the 10th Ludwik Stefański and Halina Czerny-Stefańska Piano Competition in Płock, Poland. Two years later I received second price in the 16th Polish Piano Competition in Konin, Poland and I was awarded the third prize at the International Podkarpacki Chopin Competition held in Rzeszów, Poland. I have been awarded many scholarships, such as those sponsored by the Mayor of my hometown Katowice, the Marshal of Silesian Province and the Polish Prime Minister. I cooperated with Piotr Kler Foundation and recorded three solo CDs with Fryderyk Chopin's music. In 2014 I was the very first to receive a Krystian Zimerman Award for most talented young pianists.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. I have experience with students of all ages and I believe that there is no right age to start learning to play an instrument. I adapt my lessons to the objectives and tastes of each student.
