The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the Swiss maturity program and gymnasium or French programs are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools. Special program for Matura and Terminales. As well as for (students in international and European Schools in English, they can have support in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). For the start of the academic year in Switzerland, support courses for EPSU and ECUS exams. For the first university year, support courses in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology. My experience is too long and for years I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill in their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students. I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects. Guaranteed response within minutes up to 10 hours maximum.

I offer you a new learning experience. The focus is on practical application and theory is only introduced where intuition reaches its limits. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, my tailor-made lessons will accelerate your language acquisition in a positive learning environment. You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise. There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge: When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next. When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster. Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. My offer is aimed at both young people and adults who want to learn German or improve their knowledge without wasting time on nonsensical school methods. I offer individual or group lessons for German. The methods are based on cognitive science and, in particular, comparative linguistics. My flexible programme can be tailored to your individual needs. The programme focuses on your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What is particularly important to me: motivating my students and help them establish a learning rhythm; encouraging their creativity; helping them become more familiar with the language; teaching them the letters and their sounds; strengthening their memory by training their phonological loop; teaching sentence building plans instead of memorising sentences; explaining how language works so that my students can become independent as quickly as possible. I look forward to meeting you.

With a university degree in German language and literature (Master of Arts in German with a specialization in medieval languages and literature) and solid experience, I offer private German lessons for all levels and all age groups. My courses are designed to be adapted to the age, level and specific needs of each individual. They aim to introduce the language, consolidate concepts, fill gaps, and prepare for exams (ECR 8P, compulsory school leaving certificates, entrance exams for gymnasiums, maturity and university exams, Goethe Zertifikat up to B2). Specifics for academic support: Since this is primarily a long-term endeavor, I emphasize methodology by taking the time to "learn how to learn" effectively: every exercise is explained in detail, which may make its execution slower. Quality takes precedence over quantity in order to achieve optimal results over time. Students bring their own course materials (notebooks, textbooks, tablets and/or computers, dictionaries, assessments...). Another important point: in order for my help to be beneficial, it is necessary that the student provides regular personal work between lessons. This essentially involves rereading your notes, repeating exercises similar to those carried out together or even moving forward in learning vocabulary. Specifics for conversation classes: The topics are based on interests and/or specific needs for exam preparation. I attach particular importance to pronunciation, fluency and vocabulary. I usually correct at the end of a conversation exercise with detailed feedback, in order to avoid any blockages and to work on fluency. Depending on the level of the students and/or their expectations (exam preparations/assessments/desire for improvement for example), I work on the choice of appropriate words, grammatical accuracy, the ability to formulate more or less complex sentences. Specifics for exam preparation: The courses offer to acquire solid tools to learn to write, to comment on literary texts and a methodology to work on oral comprehension. The student must bring their own exam preparation brochure, available in all bookstores. For Goethe Institute model exams, the exam books from Cornlesen are particularly suitable. The other alternative would be to download and print before the start of the course a copy of the Goethe Institute exam available on the institute's website. Specifics for listening comprehension: I primarily use audiovisual materials downloaded from the Deutsche Welle website, which offers a variety of recordings suitable for all levels, with a very practical approach. Over time, students not only gain fluency in listening comprehension but also enrich their basic vocabulary through exercises. I also work with the Goethe-Institut's oral tests to familiarize them with spoken language. Specifics for written expression work: I begin by explaining in the first lesson some methodological tools to acquire writing skills. The student has the opportunity to start writing during the course or do a writing exercise on duty and give it to me to correct (send by email or at the beginning of the next lesson). The corrections are explained in detail. In addition, at the time of booking, the student can send me a draft copy before the lesson so that I can meet his needs even more quickly. Besides my presence with the student, every lesson involves preparation time before and after, particularly for the assignments I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the necessary time to write detailed comments in my corrections or offer advice to maximize each student's success. In addition, each student can contact me at any time outside of class by email if necessary. Feel free to contact me for more information, and I look forward to supporting you in your learning. 😊

I have been giving chinese lessons for more than 10 years. Before that, I was a radio broadcaster and a journalist in China, hence I have a perfect pronunciation of the official mandarin, without any accent. It provides my students the best conditions to learn chinese, as the tone you give to words when you speak chinese as a foreigner is of great importance if you want to be understood by natives. I have a strong working experience helping students preparing their HSK exam, I also often teach diplomats, to help them acquire the necessary skills and understand properly the vocabulary specific to their job. I also love to work with kids, as I was a mandarin teacher for 2 years in an international school in Singapore. I give them a playful learning environment and use fun learning methods, so even the youngest can stay focused!

Are you looking to prepare for entrance to EPFL, strengthen your foundations in mathematics or physics, acquire effective study methods, or calmly prepare for your exams? I offer personalized support to help you assimilate concepts in depth and adopt effective problem-solving methods. I primarily work with two types of clients: - 1st and 2nd year students at EPFL, or in CMS (analysis, linear algebra, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc.). - Motivated high school students wishing to prepare for their baccalaureate or entry into a demanding scientific field. I am currently in my first year of a Master's degree in physics at EPFL, after having completed my Bachelor's degree there. Before coming to Switzerland, I attended the Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris (graduating with highest honors). I have been giving private lessons for 5 years. This experience has allowed me to fully understand the academic requirements (especially those of EPFL) and to adapt quickly to the specific difficulties of each student. Feel free to contact me to explain your needs, whether it's for occasional help or regular follow-up.
