Music theory catch-up courses: from beginner to advanced
From 30 € /h
A violinist since childhood, I long viewed music theory as a constraint before discovering its magic. Today, music theory has become a true passion for me, one that I have enthusiastically shared since I was 16.
My goal? To help students reconnect with music theory so they can fully flourish on their instrument. Whether starting from scratch or needing intensive review before an exam, I adapt my teaching methods to make concepts clear and engaging. Together, we'll transform notes on paper into music!

About Me
I am a musician with a formal education in music theory, combining both instrumental and vocal training. I have played the violin since childhood, sung in choirs for ten years, and trained in opera for several years, which has allowed me to internalize musical theory in a concrete and lively way.
I have been teaching music theory since I was fifteen. This experience has enabled me to work with very diverse profiles and quickly identify the most common obstacles, particularly in sight-reading, rhythm, or intonation. I adapt to each student’s level and learning style to provide a clear and effective progression.
My teaching approach is based on a true understanding of concepts, combined with their immediate practical application. For me, music theory is not an abstract subject: it must be heard, felt, and practiced. I therefore place strong emphasis on vocal, rhythmic, and physical exercises to help students internalize the fundamentals in a lasting way.
I offer rigorous, personalised, and structured guidance, particularly suited to students who need to catch up or consolidate their foundational skills.

Education
I hold a music theory diploma from the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg and have been playing the violin since the age of four. I also sang in choirs for ten years and completed seven years of training in classical (opera) singing, supplemented by two years of jazz vocal training.
Experience / Qualifications
Graduated in vocal arts and holder of a first prize in music theory, I have been teaching music theory for 15 years, combining vocal and instrumental practice. Currently pursuing studies in literature, I aim to become a French teacher while continuing to teach music in a practical and personalized way for each student.
