Maths can be a subject many find challenging to grasp and understand fully. There are so many complicated elements which take time to grasp. I understand that sometimes in maths lessons students struggle to put their hands up and ask for help. I am here to deal with these concerns over areas you aren’t too sure about!

Über mich

I am a student taking a year out to work before I take up my place at UCL to study English Literature. I have been tutoring for 3 years and really enjoy working with students to improve their knowledge and help them to gain confidence. Throughout the years I have tutored, I have catered to a wide range of students from year 4 up to year 10.

I'm an enthusiastic tutor, who can easily relate to most students as I was one myself less than a year ago! My teaching method is completely centered around the student as i want them to feel happy and comfortable with what we’re doing in lessons. I will ask the student every lesson what they wish to focus on and work with them on that topic. This will allow me to keep track of the students progress by logging which topics have been covered through our sessions. Furthermore, I believe in keeping the parent or guardian fully involved and up to date with the progress of their child and what I plan to do to help them achieve their full potential in the subject.

I am a researching collaborator in power electronics and I studied a master's degree in industrial engineering. I love to teach everything I have learned, in a structured and methodical way. I tutor mainly math, physics and mechanics at every level but don't hesitate to ask for some subject more specialized.

I am a second year Physics Undergraduate reading at Oxford University and am able to tutor maths and physics at varying levels. I have lots of experience tutoring and am passionate about helping students to really understand the topics of maths and physics.

This class is aimed at secondary school students, particularly those who have important GCSE or A Level exams coming up next year and feel they have missed out on critical lessons due to COVID 19

I just passed my A-levels with A* A* A in Biology Maths Chemistry.
I have GCSE

All the content is fresh in my mind and who better to teach than someone who just sat these exams!

I have gotten A*s in French, German and Maths A Level and am going to study Modern and Medieval Languages (German and ab initio Russian) at the University of Cambridge. I have done some maths tutoring in the past for a Year 4/5 student and a Year 7/8 student. I am enthusiastic about languages and maths and would love to help anyone up to GCSE level who needs some extra support in these subjects.

I deliver my teachings with a combination of questioning and inquiry approaches.
An initial assessment of the level of understanding of my students is very important. This enables me know where to start/continue with them. By this I can move them from known to unknown.
It is very important to state that my approach is altogether student-centered. Different students have different needs which are peculiar to them. I believe that student satisfaction and value gained for money is achieved when individualised needs are met.

I give tutoring and lessons in math and German, from beginners to native speakers. I passed my high school diploma with a grade of 1.0 in Hesse and my law degree with top marks. I have been giving tutoring for over five years, especially in German and math.

My resources are all current and up to date and relevant in today’s National Curriculum specification.

Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
