I am a young experienced and enthusiastic cello teacher. In the past few years, I have been teaching in the UK at the Royal College of Music Junior Department in London, in primary schools, and privately. I am new to Geneva and I have just started my new teaching job at Ecolint, International School of Geneva. I teach children age 5-10, teenagers and adults.
My teaching approach is to give the passion for music while building technical abilities and confidence. Discipline is important, and so is fun !
In the past, I have created cello ensembles for young children and I hope to be able to develop the same teaching outfit in Geneva as I had in London.
I can teach in English or in French, the ABC system or the Do-Re-Mi system, and work towards various goals including ABRSM exams, concerts, etc. I am fluent in English as I was in London for over 10 years and French is my native language.

I am kind, enthusiastic and patient.
I adapt my teaching methods depending on my students needs and set some goals that they are happy to work towards. My goal as a teacher is to give my students the passion to play, the tools to be confident and I want them to learn in an environment of trust where they can communicate and express their wishes too.
I help the students set up a little routine as I believe organisation has an impact on the quality of the practice. I am always open to discuss with parents about their child's improvement and needs.

Je suis actuellement un étudiant à l'EPFL et je cherche des élèves qui auraient besoin de cours complémentaire de piano ou de cours de solfège. En effet, ayant fait 10 ans de piano et 8 ans de solfège, je suis détenteur de l'AFA ( attestation de formation artistique ) et je peux donc donner cours aux élèves. If you learn the 8 chords (there are only 8 chords) you can basically learn to play all modern songs.

I can also teach you Jazz and how to improvise on electric guitar or piano.
