Mathematics Mastery: Tutoring classes in mathematics for students

Greetings! I'm Shashi Kiran, from the lovely city of Darmstadt, Germany. I am a master's student at TU Darmstadt. Apart from learning the subjects of my academic course, teaching mathematics is what I am most passionate about. I believe mathematics is a wonderful language which when understood well, is very enjoyable and fascinating.
When it comes to teaching, no two students are the same. Hence being friendly and understanding of them is very important. In the past 4 years when I used to tutor mathematics to high school students, I have often received feedback from them in a positive way. My way of teaching is connecting with the students to their level and explaining the concepts along with suitable examples. I aim to transform the basics of math into captivating stories that unravel the "whys" behind mathematical concepts. Through relatable examples drawn from everyday scenarios, I unravel the mysteries behind numbers, operations, and formulas. I encourage curiosity by connecting these concepts to their real-world applications, showcasing how they solve problems or enhance our understanding of the world.

In the department of communication technology at my university, my research focus revolves around the intricate domains of signal processing and wireless communication. This realm intrigues me deeply as I'm driven to understand the intricacies of the real world and how mathematics is a torch bearer for it. Before embarking on my master's journey, I ventured into the automotive industry. This enriched my understanding of technology's practical applications, offering insights into its real-world impact. Throughout my bachelor's program, I involved myself in a spectrum of courses that solidified my academic foundation. Beyond the conventional curriculum, I eagerly explored interdisciplinary electives as well. All of this has made me even more excited about exploring what technology can do.
