Greetings! I'm Shashi Kiran, from the lovely city of Darmstadt, Germany. I am a master's student at TU Darmstadt. Apart from learning the subjects of my academic course, teaching mathematics is what I am most passionate about. I believe mathematics is a wonderful language which when understood well, is very enjoyable and fascinating. When it comes to teaching, no two students are the same. Hence being friendly and understanding of them is very important. In the past 4 years when I used to tutor mathematics to high school students, I have often received feedback from them in a positive way. My way of teaching is connecting with the students to their level and explaining the concepts along with suitable examples. I aim to transform the basics of math into captivating stories that unravel the "whys" behind mathematical concepts. Through relatable examples drawn from everyday scenarios, I unravel the mysteries behind numbers, operations, and formulas. I encourage curiosity by connecting these concepts to their real-world applications, showcasing how they solve problems or enhance our understanding of the world. I always talk about how math helps in the real world—like in art, science, and even in technology—to show how cool and useful it is. My goal is to make math not just something to learn, but something to enjoy learning about!
