Economics is a subject that is personal and relatable, because you live your life on it!
So this class is going to be interactive and discussion-based, while still keeping to a structure.
We will cover very basic topics as outlined below:
- What is Economics? What is the Law of Demand & Supply?
- Explain the relationship between supply, demand, and prices in a transaction.
- Explore scenarios of disequilibrium & its impact
- Discuss what affects choice

You won't have any assignments, but you'll have to participate in the discussion.
Don't worry! These are all practical and everyday experiences. And at the end of the session, you'd have realised that our choices and what affects them, can explain what happens in market transactions.

I'm collaborative and analytical so sessions with me will be interactive and will draw a lot from the student's perspective. I like to challenge students to explain concepts and learnings in their own words. I enjoy listening to student interactions and I am energised by how they understand the world in their own POV.

I have a degree in Economics and have always felt passionate about how practical and real its impact is to our daily lives. It makes me understand and appreciate how, for example, countries interact, how trading markets react, how public policy is created and used, how tax laws influence investors, why consumers behave that way, and many others. I hope to inspire students to appreciate learning Economics and realise how it can benefit their lives.

I am honored to be a university professor specialized in teaching statistics, mathematics, operations research, and economics. Thanks to my extensive experience, which extended for 15 years, I became a professional in monitoring students’ level and contributing to their academic success and achieving their cognitive goals.
I truly find true happiness in my work as a university professor by guiding and helping students in achieving their academic realization and raising their level of scientific awareness. Therefore, I have a strong belief in the importance of this noble mission in the field of education.

Typically, sessions go like this:

1️⃣ The first sessions focus mainly on assessing the student’s level to determine the areas that need development.

2️⃣ Next, we prepare a plan to fill the gaps, including determining the number of hours needed, the materials to focus on, and providing a set of training and improvement exercises.

3️⃣ We are keen to constantly review the student’s curriculum to stay informed of the latest developments and ensure continuous coordination.

4️⃣ Next, we provide exams similar to those that could be asked in class.

5️⃣ Finally, we prepare a monthly report upon request to notify parents of the student’s progress and improvement points.
