I am Latha, an auditor by profession for past 7 years and a part time tutor for 5 years. I love handling students and teaching them. I would like to make learning as fun and at the same time challenging as possible so that students would be engaged.

Students would need to come with the positive right learning attitude to learn.

I have been learning Bharathanatyam, Kalakshetra style, since the age of 6 under the tutelage of V. Balakrishnan Sir and Priyan Sir. I am a trained Indian classical dancer. I have completed my arangetram, first debut dance performance at the young age of 16. I have danced in several dance competitions, school performance, temple events, festivals and TV shows. I am currently learning Kuchipudi under the guidance of Premela Balakrishnan. I have been teaching bharathanatyam in Amstelveen Netherlands for past 3 years. My students have performed in several Indian events in Netherlands.

Learn how to dance Bharathanatyam, Indian Dance with Latha

I specialise in teaching Bharathanatyam, an Indian Classical Dance. It is catered to students from the age of 4 to adults, no age restriction, as long they are interested and willing to learn.

This class is for aspiring Indian classical dancers. My goal is to keep the class as engaging and interesting as possible and to share the knowledge of dance to the students.

Each class would be one hour. It is conducted at Amstelveen Shiva Yoga studio on Friday evenings.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

I will focus on your strengths and guide you to how to use those to your advantage in learning. We will elicit your potential. With a little help, I am sure you will achieve the goals you set for yourself.

As a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Mathematics and Computer Science and the Master's program in Mathematics, I've noticed that many students struggle with many subjects. These are often also the most crucial for their progress, as many future courses build on them. If you're a Bachelor's student facing the same challenge, you've come to the right place. Ik bied in Amsterdam en omgeving bijles aan huis en online bijles aan voor leerlingen in het voortgezet onderwijs. De vakken waarin ik bijles geef zijn Wiskunde, Biologie en Scheikunde. De voorkeur ligt bij deze vakken i.v.m met mijn eigen biomedische achtergrond. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik als bijlesdocent gewerkt voor o.a. Instituut Vrijbergen, Nationale Eindexamentraing en Capita Selecta. Inmiddels heb ik mijn eigen ZZP-onderneming en werk voornamelijk in Amsterdam en omgeving. Omdat ik zelf over een auto beschik, ben ik hierin flexibel om ook naar jou te verplaatsen. Uiteraard worden momenteel de bijlessen online of met gepaste afstand gegeven.

I believe anyone can learn math. And with an average rating of 8.5 for my exam training at, among others, lyceo, I have experienced a lot of others doing the same.

We usually start with some (simple) exercises around the subject to gauge your understanding. This way I can construct a tailor-made approach that guarantees you will see the light. There are, of course, no real guarantees in education. But I can guarantee that after every hour of tutoring, you will be a little closer to the math genius that you really are.

In addition, in the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience in online education. I now have a drawing tablet, an iPad, and an external microphone (worth 300 euros) to be able to deliver the best experience online.

Bijles voor basis-en middelbare scholieren. Ik heb het meest ervaring in het geven van bijles Nederlands (begrijpend lezen, taal , woordenschat en spelling) en Wiskunde (Rekenen basisschool en wiskunde 1e en 2e leerjaar) maar ook met andere onderwerpen kan je bij mij terecht.
De bijlessen worden bij voorkeur online gegeven, maar indien de afstand niet heel groot is, is er een mogelijkheid bij de leerling thuis.
