About Me

During my whole career I was always interested in teaching, I think that for a musician is very important to share his experience. This is why I am offering piano and composition lessons in a professional and friendly atmosphere. Contact me and we can discuss custom lessons for each students.

Education

Umberto was born in Mondovì in 1996. After brilliantly graduating at the Conservatory, he attended a master course with Pietro De Maria, Ricardo Castro, Filippo Gamba, Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Stellini at the Pinerolo Academy of Music, following the “Scuola di Maria Tipo”. He also studied at the prestigious Academy “Stanislas Moniuszko” in Gdansk, under the supervision of Maestro Andrzej Artykiewicz.
Since 2017 he’s studying composition and conducting under the guidance of Maestro Andrea Ravizza and he already wrote several compositions and transcriptions for ensembles and soloists.

Experience / Qualifications

His repertoire ranges from ancient to contemporary music and has held numerous concerts for important festivals. He was awarded in several international piano competitions and he has performed in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Poland, etc … as a soloist and chamber musician, always achieving critical and public success. He also collaborated with chamber groups and with the solos of the Rai National Symphony Orchestra. He conducted the Monferrato Chamber Orchestra, which led in music by Pergolesi, Cimarosa, Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, …, also collaborating with some of the best soloists of his generation. With the MCOrchestra he performed as soloist the third concert for piano and orchestra by Ludwig van Beethoven and Chopin’s Polonaise Brillante op.22.
He collaborated in Japanese music recordings with solos of the Rai National Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Torino. He has recorded live music by Chopin and contemporary works by Andrea Ravizza.
He is also very interested in contemporary music, he is part of the Sonic Space Basel and has performed on various occasions in chamber and solo ensembles, also performing works for the first time ever. He collaborated with the “False relationship and the extended endings” ensemble, with which he was awarded at the Hugo Wettbewerb, a competition dedicated to innovative concert forms.
He is the founder and artistic director of “Classiche Armonie”.
He currently studies at the Musik Akademie in Basel, where he attends the Master of Arts in Musical Performance in the class of Maestro Filippo Gamba.

Hello! I am a pianist, currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik where I am starting a second master's degree in piano, after studyin in Barcelona and Bruxelles. I specialize in piano interpretation and I give private lessons. I have experience and pedagogical knowledge with students of different ages and levels and I enjoy giving lessons. I live in the centre of Basel and I can give lessons at your place or in my studio.
I have been teaching for 6 years to students of different levels (children of different levels and beginners to adults). I adapt to both the student's interests and personal abilities to make the class a place of mutual learning, always with music as the goal and enjoyment as the intention. My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method.
The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you!

My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. The invaluable advice I received from renowned teachers such as Margreet Honig, Elene Golgevit and Snezana Stamenkovic inspired me to share my enriching knowledge of vocal technique from the Bel Canto school. My aim is to build a healthy vocal technique so that your voice is free and brilliant.

I am a piano teacher with over 30 years of experience, passionate about nurturing musical talent at every age and level. I have taught at esteemed institutions such as the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna, and many of my students have gone on to succeed in auditions at top conservatories like the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover.
