About Me

I started playing music at the age of 9. Very quickly, I knew I wanted to make it my career. After classical training at the Ciney Conservatory, I wanted to try the electric guitar! I met my first mentor at the Rock's Cool in Ciney, Pascal Riflart. He taught me the basic techniques and motivated me to pursue music professionally!

I was fortunate enough in 2002 to be able to go and study in England, where I took classes with Shaun Baxter.

Back in Belgium, I started working as a freelancer and discovered a passion for studio work. I persevered in this field and still work in it today.

Since music is a field where you learn every day, I have resumed regular lessons with Jon Finn (Professor at Berklee) and Jamie Humphries (Guitar Techniques).

--About me--
I have been a guitar teacher for over 20 years, giving private lessons, teaching at music schools (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien), and leading workshops (AKDT). I started playing guitar 30 years ago and have never stopped. I've explored all styles: from classical to pop songs, then electric guitar: blues, rock, and jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed my skills in flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian music (with Osman Martins), Gypsy music, and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also well-versed in Gypsy jazz. Therefore, I can teach all levels and styles. I teach music theory alongside the practical exercises so that the material is absorbed naturally. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.
