Trusted teacher: After having studied at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then passed with distinction his Master of violin at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M ° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During her training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and followed masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M ° Shirly Laub and M ° Frédéric d'Ursel in specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy. Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

Trusted teacher: I am an enthusiastic professional violinist and teacher. I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre! Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc. Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :) All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done! My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! All is being done with gentle care towards your body's physiology and feelings, and consideration of your learning style. :)) Finally, I'm at your disposal in between the lessons, answering to any questions you might have and offering you support and guidance with your new insights! :D

Raffaele - Schaarbeek44€
Trusted teacher: Basically, I love teaching Italian and Violin! I do it with passion, love, and putting all my self in it. I shall guarantee professionalism, high teaching level and friendly attitude. Italian is the language of Opera and the fashion: understanding the language helps people to get deeper in the Italian culture and to enjoy literature, arts, music and all the most beautiful cities in Italy. My method consists in using grammar books to build solid skills but also reading original samples from Italian newspapers and books, making funny activities and also meeting Italian speakers in Bruxelles to consolidate practical skills of my students. I will encourage students to practise Italian with the new technology and have fun through listening to lovely Italian popular song, arias from Italian Opera or cartoons for children of amateurs (for more details, do not hesitate to contact me). Violin, solfège. I studied Master of Arts in Violin in London at the Royal Academy of Music. As violinist and musician, I think it is fundamental for a student of music to understand their bodies in order to feel the inner voice of themselves. I studied Alexander technique so in my teaching I always talk about relaxing, feeling the right tensions and avoiding the not-useful ones. I will be happy to teach violin to everyone who needs to improve musicality, technique, self-consciousness or simply who like to enjoy violin. As a violinst, I usually play with ensemble or in chamber music projects across the Europe. Basically I play historical instrument but I fell equally at home on the modern violin ( for more details and cv, do not hesitate to contact me). I teach English as well. Group language lessons(max 3 people) are warmly welcome. Discounts apply.

Christian
I recently started taking violin lessons from Christian. As someone who has 0 experience with the violin, or any other instrument for that matter, I was a bit nervous but excited. Despite my total lack of experience, Christian is incredibly patient, he never rushes me and always takes the time to answer my questions, no matter how basic. We started with the absolute basics, which is exactly what I needed. He finds a way to explain complicated things in a way that makes sense to me, which makes the whole process less intimidating. His teaching style is perfect for someone like me, coming into music with no background. I wholeheartedly recommend Christian to anyone who's been thinking about picking up the violin! His patience, expertise, insightfulness and supportive nature have made my start in music both enjoyable and fulfilling. Bonus points for speaking English.
