I was amazed and pleasantly surprised how much I learned in my first lesson with Mrs Rattana (1-hour conversational + 1 hour for reading writing) that I couldn’t believe it was just the first meeting with her! I find myself grasping the Thai language so much more than I could ever learn by myself despite the wealth of online resources. Very glad I made the decision to learn Thai with Mrs Rattana guidance :) At the time of writing, I have completed by 3rd class and more to go. My goal is to reach and master the basics. I highly and truly recommend Mrs Rattana class to anyone who wishes to learn Thai competently, at a pace that stretches you a little but not too out of reach. Benoit is friendly and patient and has a good sense of when to challenge and when to take a step back. My son, who is 8, really likes his lessons very much. He loves math, especially working with big numbers, and at school it isn't always possible to work on calculations as he would like. After few lessons he already learned new techniques for calculations he likes to experiment with and Benoit also managed to challenge him to try some new and more advanced things. I think this type of lessons is more tricky to prepare, at least until the teacher gets to know well the capacities and character of the child, as there are not based on the child's curriculum or homework to be done. Benoit is always open to discussion and if my son finds something too challenging, they take a step back and try another way or just agree to try another time when my son feels ready for it.

I need to re-study 4 years of high school maths in only 5 months. Mahmood agreed to help me with this difficult task and thanks to his professional way of teaching I believe I can make this happen. He explains topics in detail and yet quickly enough to spare time for other topics. If you are unsure he points you to the right direction. Most important thing for me was that he made me realize that I first need to master concept #1 in order to be able to later master concept #5 and so on. You can see that he has a lot of teaching experience, he tries to understand the way YOU think and based on that he serves you clear explanation for topics you struggle to understand.
