Een hele grote overgang als je van de basisschool waar je iedereen al kent vanaf je kleutertijd, waar de ouders elkaar ook kennen en je bent ook nog de oudste en je hebt vaak maar 1 of 2 leerkrachten en dan kom je opeens op de middelbare school waar je de jongste bent, waar je vaak nog niet veel leerlingen kent, waarin je voor ieder vak een andere docent krijgt, die allemaal weer op hun eigen manier werken en dan ben je ook eens weer de jongste , een brugpijler en als klap op de vuurpijl ben je ook in de puberteit beland en ben je bezig je wat los te maken van je ouders. Ga er maar aanstaan. En dan willen ze ook nog dat je huiswerk gaat maken.
Zelf heb ik deze overgang bij mijn zoon als veel te groot ervaren en weet ik hoe verloren je kunt voelen de eerste maanden op deze vaak ook nog grootschalige scholen met 2000 leerlingen. Wat ik zelf nooit heb begrepen dat je juist op deze leeftijd op een vaak anonieme plek terecht komt waar de docenten niet alle gezichten van de school kennen en andersom. Heel graag wil ik met jou samen kijken hoe we overzicht kunnen houden . Je begeleiden bij je huiswerk, hoe pak je dat aan met al die vakken en al die docenten en nieuwe leerlingen.
Zelf werkte ik 10 jaar als zorg coördinator in het voortgezet speciaal onderwijs maar werkte ook op VMBO en MBO en ben nu filmmaakster maar mis het contact met jongeren .

I offer lessons of French for all levels, to provide the students with personalised exercises and content, to match the level and the goals. The different area of the language will be engaged: speaking, listening, writing and reading.

Who? I am a twenty-eight-year-old French and U.S. Anthropology student. I am trained in FLE (French as a Second Language) and have worked for the National French Education Ministry as a Middle School Teacher on the beautiful island of Mayotte. Following that exotic experience, I decided to change course and study Anthropology all the while teaching French as a Second Language on a freelance basis. I moved to the Netherlands just recently and have decided to continue practicing as a French tutor. I have also tutored English classes in France for five years.

What? I offer French or FLE (French as a Second Language) courses based on multiple sources and I regularly renew them because it is important to be in adequacy with today's society. As I just started learning Dutch, I teach in English all the while aiming for 90% French during the class.

Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular.

Franse taal is erg mooi maar ook wel ingewikkeld, ik ben bijna afgestuurde filoloog in franse taal. Toen ik besloot dit te studeren was frans een vak waarin ik nooit goed was en zelfs een hekel had. Tot ik het besloot om te studeren en het als een challenge zag, heb heel veel geleerd in mijn studie en heb 5-6 maanden ook in frankrijk geleefd en gestudeerd.

Born and raised in France but educated partly in Australia. I am very used to handling relationships with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My method is to structure courses in two halves: conversations on specific news, social or cultural topics with the help of videos, pictures or articles and then focusing on the main vocabulary or grammar issues faced.
This method is particularly adapted for students who have had a first scholar basis in french but who have not practised for a long time and want to upgrade their level in a daily conversational context. Alternatively, for students learning French as a second language at school, I will gladly help with the homework and focus on the main difficulties.

As a student who graduated from the European School, I have gained a lot of knowledge in different languages. Having learnt Greek, German, English, French, and even a bit of Italian, I have become familiar with the ways and mechanisms of teaching a language. I have always been passionate about writing and believe a lot in the importance of writing abilities to help individuals mentally, and the same counts for speaking and reading.
