As a multidisciplinary artist, I believe that strong digital work is rooted in traditional mastery. This course combines the tactile logic of oil painting and watercolors with the power of Photoshop and digital design. We begin with the core fundamentals, anatomy, still life, and composition before transitioning those skills into the digital space. You will learn to control digital brushes, build convincing lighting, and apply color with intention. We move beyond simple tutorials to tackle character design, surreal environments, and professional workflows. By the end of this course, you will have a body of polished, original work and a deep understanding of the design fundamentals that make an image successful in any medium. you’ll produce portfolio-ready artworks and understand a professional workflow from sketch to finish. Each session combines hands-on exercises with discussion of artistic choices, so you strengthen both technical skill and creative judgment. This course is for beginners and intermediate artists who want to go beyond tutorials and actually build a body of polished, original work.

Hello! My name is Haixin, and I am a professional Chinese language teacher with over ten years of teaching experience. I run my own teaching practice (KVK registered) and currently give most lessons at students’ homes. I specialize in teaching complete beginners, guiding them step by step with patience, structure, and a lot of encouragement. My lessons focus on practical Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, writing), and I also introduce cultural elements such as Chinese festivals, traditions, and even hands-on workshops (for example, Chinese calligraphy or crafts). For Dutch-speaking students, I use bilingual Chinese-Dutch teaching materials. This makes it much easier to follow the lessons, build confidence, and enjoy the process of learning a new language. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply curious about Chinese culture, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals. 📍 Lessons: usually at students’ homes (Amstelveen/Amsterdam region), but online lessons are also possible. 👩‍🏫 Experience: Teaching in the Netherlands & volunteering in Sri Lanka (cross-cultural experience). 🌱 Suitable for: complete beginners, school support, adults, or anyone who wants to start learning Mandarin in a structured and engaging way. Feel free to contact me for lessons—I look forward to meeting you!

In each class, I will speak French only and no other language (English can be used before or after the class) New vocabulary on a new topic every time. Use pictures and photos to help understand the main topic. Games and daily life situations depending on the level. For more experienced students I will discuss the main expectations and organize the class accordingly.
