Then went onto study vocals and music at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where she learnt all about how to use the voice and how to be a safe singer. Along with her training at LIPA focused on performance, music theory and music business.

Currently Emilie is a singer/songwriter and producer. Working in studios with producers and DJ's. Emilie has created an immense platform online and has releases that have been very successful. Emilie also performs internationally and around London itself to small intermite crowds and events with crowds of thousands.

Emilie has been teaching vocals for 6 years specialising is many different genres. Teaching big groups and vocal 1-1s. Emilie loves to focus on feeling confident and comfortable when singing. Looking at performance and vocal control. Always looking at ways to improve and get to the next step as a vocalist. Emilie teaches beginners all the way up to advanced. Emilie also teaches piano and songwriting.

If you are wanting to take exams in singing Emilie also focuses on this. From experience preparing for Trinity, Rock School and ABRSM. Emilie understands that exams aren't for everyone. So if you would rather just develop your vocals in other ways such as through vocals and songs, Emilie can put together working goals for this and a separate syllabus without the taking the exam part.

Lessons will be fun and flexible, they will be planed around you as a individual. In person will be accompanied by Piano and online backing tracks will be prepped in advance.

Music forms a great soundtrack in this journey called life, and as a passionate musician and a versatile music teacher, my aim is to inspire others to develop their talents and appreciate the joy of music.

With over 15 years of experience, I teach singing, guitar, music theory, and music production to students that are eager to learn and broaden their skills. My main goal is to create tailored lesson plans to match the needs and ambitions of every student, as we are all different and most importantly we learn in different ways.

Whether you’re a beginner or you already play and sing and want to refine your skills, I will teach you the basics all the way through to mastering what’s needed to become an accomplished player and musician. My belief is that everyone can learn to sing when taught properly and holistically and can experience the joy of discovering the unique qualities of their individual voice. This is a joy which I share with my students and why I find teaching so rewarding. My experience is predominantly (but not exclusively) with children and I love to watch as their love for their voice grows.

I believe it is important to teach with an emphasis on technique and vocal health, so from the first few lessons students learn about the body and the way the voice works. I address this through exercises and breathing techniques as well as songs appropriate to age and stage; (usually based around the appropriate ABRSM Grades). I currently study with Sophie Grimmer, a highly respected and accomplished vocal teacher based in London who has performed at venues across Europe and London such as ENO. Therefore everything I teach my own students is informed by the world class tuition I am lucky enough to receive, (but of course adjusted so that it is age appropriate). This ensures that the tuition I give is always current and reflects the ever evolving industry standards for vocal tuition.
