Hi, my name is Marco, I'm an Austrian film director. I have been shooting movies and CM for 20 years and have been working internationally. I live in Japan for 9 years. Besides my filmmaking work, I teach directing, writing and producing to young filmmakers or those who are interested in the film business. I am not an English teacher in the classic sense, but I work and live in English nearly all my life. I am offering conversations about moviemaking and advertisement. Or any other topic.

Hi, my name is Marco, I'm an Austrian film director. I have been shooting movies and CM for 20 years and have been working internationally. I live in Japan for 9 years. Besides my filmmaking work, I teach directing, writing and producing to young filmmakers or those who are interested in the film business.

Education

I have studied at the University for Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria, Department for Film and Television. I have a Magister degree in Directing and Production.

20 years as a director, producer and writer in the film industry. I have directed over 100 commercials in different countries, also released my first movie.

I specialized in teaching French to foreign students. I can give lessons for all kind of level due to my experience (beginners, Delf/Dalf conversational, advanced).
I can also teach English to students. I want to keep my students having fun so I like to use different medias as support (videos, audios, texts). Sometimes I'm asking for homework and we could have some periodic evaluations.
Don't worry about your level, you'll work to have more confidence in French language discover the culture, and enjoy.

Being at a native level for French and English and with a love of languages (I have learnt Japanese at the JLPT N1 level, Korean and Spanish at an intermediate level, as well as Mandarin at a conversational level), I understand the challenges of learning a new languages.
Having contributed to making a number of people more at ease in conversations, it would be my pleasure to assist you as well.

I can give lessons for any level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and can answer your interrogations about the language. Depending on your needs, we can set up more formal lessons or have a more casual approach.

The class can be fully in French or English, but if you prefer, explanations can be given in Japanese as well.

Inspired by the work of Sanford Meisner, Susan Batson, and Bob McAndrew, Lucas guides actors to discover their authentic approach to acting through moments of truth. He emphasizes reconnecting with emotions, shifting focus from the self to the connection with scene partners.

Lucas also teaches character-building, from identifying a character’s primal need to crafting their public persona.

To be an actor is to be a creator, breathing life, soul, and emotion into the pages of a script.
To be an actor is to make bold, imaginative and meaningful choices.
To be an actor is to believe in the unbelievable—and to make the audience believe with you.

A graduate of the University of Tokyo (bachelor's degree in environmental sciences and master's degree in design and innovation), I offer private lessons and homework help in French and English for middle and high school students living in Tokyo in scientific subjects (math, SVT, physics-chemistry).
Using typical exercises as a basis, my goal is to help the student progress and aim for excellence in their tests, tests, and exams.

After you tell me about your goal (what you want to be able to do in French/English thanks to my lessons), we define your needs and the best methods for you together.
