Tengo una amplia experiencia profesional en contrabajo y bajo eléctrico. En los últimos años, mi enfoque ha sido y sigue siendo el jazz, donde he participado en muchos conciertos y grabaciones con mi grupo de música original y otros, bajo diferentes liderazgos. Estudié en la Escuela de Jazz de Braga, en la Escuela de Jazz Luiz Villas Boas del Hot Clube de Portugal y en la Escuela Superior de Música de Lisboa.

Creo que cada persona tiene su propia forma de aprender, a su ritmo, de acuerdo con lo que le motiva en la música. Yo mismo tuve un camino irregular, diferente de la típica formación musical, por lo que veo las cosas desde otra perspectiva.
Mis instrumentos principales son el contrabajo y el bajo eléctrico, pero también toco y puedo enseñar guitarra, teoría musical, técnicas de improvisación y composición.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

Piano is an incredible instrument to learn - it provides you with a broad understanding of music, develops listening skills, and great dexterity, increases concentration, and much more.
