Hi everyone, My name is North from Thailand who is Thai native speaker. I am appreciated that you're interested in Thai and I want to be a part of your learning, I will try my best to adapt the class to suit with you as much as possible to make you understand Thai clearly. My propose for this class is I want to teach and tell like we are friend. So, any question and doubt, feel free to ask me like we are friend. :)

For this class, I will focus on speaking and listening Thai language. By the way, I understand that some of the new learner doesn't know about basic of Thai language. So, I will provide some of the basic that you need to know. After finished this class, the mainly objective is the learners can extend what they learnt by able to continue learning Thai language by themselves.

What I focus are:
1.) Thai alphabets, vowels, and tone marks which is including pronunciation. (If needed)
2.) Basic grammar for Thai language. (If needed)
3.) Conversation start from basic situation or any situation that the learner wants.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years.
