About Me

Music has been a constant companion for many years in various roles – as a producer, musician, sound engineer, and lecturer. Through my Master's degree in Sound Studies at the Berlin University of the Arts and my Bachelor's degree in Popular Music and Media, I have developed a solid theoretical and practical understanding of music production, sound design, and audio engineering. This is complemented by training in audio engineering and many years of experience with DAWs such as Logic and Pro Tools.

In my work with students, the joy of the creative process is paramount. I combine technical precision with a creative, musical approach. About the Lesson

I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. I also help students develop a technique that prevents common issues such as tendonitis, which is very important for long-term playing. You’ll also receive support outside lessons, including answers, feedback, and video explanations when needed.

I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grades 1–8 and Diplomas), but I also teach students who simply want to enjoy playing. My students range from age 3 to 75+, and all make meaningful progress.

Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online.

Curriculum

There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you.

For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer.

Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music.
