About Me

My name is Dilan, I am 32 years old and I live in Erbil. I am a Kurdish language teacher with a strong background in both Kurdish and Turkish instruction. I graduated from the Kurdish Language Department at Salahaddin University and have seven years of teaching experience in an international IB school.

I teach both Kurdish and Turkish, and I enjoy helping students of all ages build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. My lessons are structured, clear, and adapted to each learner’s goals. I graduated from Salahaddin University, from the Kurdish Language Department, where I developed strong linguistic knowledge and teaching skills. Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
