This class invites children (ages 4–12) and older adults (65+) to explore creativity through drawing, painting, and crafts — no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try. Whether it’s messy paint or quiet sketching, we’ll go at your pace and enjoy the process.

Hi! I’m an Iranian artist and teacher offering classes in oil painting, decorative painting, and papier-mâché sculpture. My lessons are suitable for everyone aged 7 and older—whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.
