About Me

As both a teacher and a filmmaker, I believe in doing things well and have a strong results orientation. I strive to achieve optimal outcomes, something I've developed through my work on various film projects and in the classes I've taught.

I have 14 years of professional experience in film production and related fields. At 21, two years after interning on an independent film (The World Made Straight, dir. David Burris), the production manager informed me that he was going to produce Nicolas Winding Refn's next feature film. I signed up. On The Neon Demon, I worked as a production assistant in the office and learned a great deal about pre-production and production: checking scripts, organizing schedules, and, above all, coordinating communication between different departments. Upon returning from Los Angeles, I finished my degree (in Hispanic Philology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina) and shortly after, the Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri team hired me as a production assistant on set. After filming wrapped, I decided to focus more on my own projects. In 2016, I was offered a job at a school in Madrid as an English teacher in the mornings, and in the afternoons, I studied for a professional master's degree in film editing at the TAI School.

Since 2024, I have been teaching editing in the Bachelor's program at TAI School. In 2025, my third short film as a director, "Don't They Know It's the End of the World?", starring Violeta Rodríguez and Joe Manjón, premiered at festivals. Meanwhile, I am preparing my first feature film.
