Hi there !
I was born in Paris and I have lived my whole life in France, which makes me a native speaker. Now that I have started my studies at university, I have more time than I used to and I would love to teach french to other willing students !
I wouldn't consider myself strict as a teacher but I do believe that learning a language is based on repetition and practice which means that if you are not ready to put in the time, the results won't be what you expect.

Hello, student in first year of pharmacy at the University of Liège, I offer my help for tutoring and homework help in the following subjects: French, English, maths and science.

These courses are more for primary school students, but it is also possible, depending on the subject and level, to give lessons to high school students.

Not having driving licenses, I prefer to give lessons at home, in Alleur or in my apartment in Liege. I can still travel by bus if your home is close to mine.

The teaching will adapt to the student's request. It may be a beginner's education, as well as a teaching aimed at tutoring a high school student.
Depending on what the student wants to improve, it will be possible to work mainly a component (oral, written, grammar, ...) or more.

I can also give an English conversation course with correct pronunciation, learning new words, discussion around a topic / video / song, etc.

Being a native french speaker I will be able to help you through the first steps to learn this (beautiful!) language, or to help you improving your already existing amazing skills. I am very flexible in the way of teaching, and will be able to adapt to your preferences.

I recently graduated from the Lycée Franco Allemand (French German high school) in Saarbrücken, Germany but grew up in a french-speaking household, which allowed me to have a natural, bilingual uprising and excellent knowledge in both these languages. Later on in high school I also improved my English level by studying for 6 months at the Parklands Languages High School in Chorley, Lancastershire.

Since I am currently enrolled at the Maastricht Science Program at the University of Maastricht and had been following rigorous scientific education during my high school (Biology and Chemistry specialisation), I can offer tutoring in any classes and especially in the Sciences in English, French or German.

Much of the communication in such a lesson is in French, but for children who are just starting I give explanations in Dutch. The main thing is that children enjoy learning the language. That is why games are also played in class. Topics can be 'greeting someone' 'telling something about yourself, naming colors, etc.

France is a popular holiday destination for many Dutch people. However, it can sometimes be difficult if you want to order a baguette or croissant and in the event of a breakdown on the road you will first have to call in a 'dépanneur' who will tow the car to a nearby garage, because France does not have a roadside assistance service. Google translate then seems useful, but a translation machine knows no grammar and interpreting the context of a word is also not possible. "I have a breakdown with my car" translates as "Je n'ai pas de chance avec ma voiture". Now a garage owner can conclude from that that you have problems with the car, but you make yourself better understood by saying: "Notre voiture est en panne."

But how do you know what suits you? I will discuss this with you prior to a tutoring session. With extra explanation and targeted exercises I help you to get better in the French language. But I also look at how you learn the material and I give you tips to learn smarter. Of course I provide variety with the help of French material, just think of songs, film fragments and reading a piece from the most famous newspapers such as 'Le Figarot' and 'Le Monde'.
